Your tasks and activities
You determine your exact specialisation yourself - and are welcome to change it over time. We are happy to discuss your desired activities with you individually and openly and would like to make these possible for you.
- Development with Java 8 / Java 11 or with other JVM languages (Kotlin, Scala...) and modern open source frameworks and tools like Spring, Spring Boot & Spring Cloud, Git, Gradle / Maven, You use Docker on a daily basis
- Development with relational DBMS (Oracle, Postgres, AWS Aurora) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB) as persistence layer
- RESTful APIs Design and Development
- Continuous integration / continuous delivery of software using modern tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab or Concourse.
- Continuous improvement of your Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup skills and abilities in an agile team
- During sprint reviews, code reviews and pair and mob programming, you share your knowledge with teammates and are open to suggestions for improvement
- You keep your knowledge up to date with trainings, workshops and user groups
- Writing interesting blog posts about your own field of activity
- Planning stories, creating concepts, writing tests at all levels (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Diverse opportunities to engage in advanced topics such as design thinking or participation in recruiting processes
Qualifications
We will of course take your current level of experience into account - please see this list as a goal that you would like to achieve with us if you do not yet have all these skills:
- Java know-how and interest in learning other JVM languages and frameworks
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, REST API, CI / CD tools and processes.
- Practical experience with agile development methods such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD
- You are a strong team player with good communication skills
- You have very good German and English skills

We an attractive Gehalt salary depending on your previous experience of at least € 2,635 (Junior Level) or € 3,285 (Senior Level) according to the IT collective agreement with willingness tor overpay.
